One Great Reason to Visit Red Hook this May!

While visiting Red Hook, Brooklyn for the first time last summer I came across this wonderful store and have thought of it ever since. Here's a little more about Foxy & Winston and its creator :

British born illustrator Jane Buck established Foxy & Winston in 2005. Her charming shop and studio is in Red Hook, Brooklyn, just a few short blocks from the water and nestled in amongst a row of wonderfully unique stores. Here she creates playful and vibrant designs on stationery and textiles, using screen printing and letterpress techniques. Over the past six years she has built a reputation from whimsical and high-quality stationery, children's clothing and other textiles, custom invitations and announcements. Jane's inspiration comes from a love of animals, nature and travel, with a spot of humor thrown in for good measure. She is currently working with fair-trade artisans in India on a new line of fabric yardage and working on illustrating a Children's Book.

So... next time you're in Red Hook please stop into this gem of a store!!
